Xiaoshan Lace

The Xiaoshan lace in Hangzhou has also become known as "ten thousand threads of silk", which is embroidered on flower paper with needle embroidery to create rich lace patterns. It was brought to China by Western missionaries from Italy and has evolved into patterns with local characteristics after a century of local transformation.
