CMF and Sustainable Material Lab is dedicated to exploring the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and modern industrial technology. With sustainable design as its fundamental thinking dimension, it constructs future-oriented material aesthetic solutions through contemporary design language. Its research areas include smart home, consumer electronics, intelligent cockpits, family and entertainment, robotics, and lifestyle and health.
Material:Fabric
The work initiates a dialogue across time and space through the juxtaposition and fusion of traditional weaving and 3D-printed fabrics. We digitally deconstruct traditional patterns, transform them into a three-dimensional vocabulary via 3D printing technology, and "weave" them onto natural textiles, creating a unique hybrid material. This approach explores how innovative mediums can preserve ancient wisdom in the technological age and reimagine the future form of craftsmanship.
