Yu Fen Lo is a designer from Taiwan with more than 10 years of experienee in 3C product design and has won many international awards.In 2008, she devoted herself to the industry of culture and creativity. In 2010, she founded Pinyen Creative Inc., promoting the "rise of traditional industry" with the aim of taking traditional Chinese culture and bringing it to the international stage.Due to her incredible passion and design abilities, she was awarded "Rising Asian Talent” at the Maison & Objet Asia Exhibition in 2014.

I specialized in blending traditional Taiwanese culture, materials and hand craftsmanship into product design.We extract the uniqueness from local Taiwanese culture and give it a new image in bamboo.Not only does this transformation make Pinyen's collection of designs delightful, but it also brings traditional culture back into people's everyday lives.

We applied traditional "bamboo tube joint" to metal, using new materials and digital processing technology. We made the parts of this work removable and through which the work can be packed in a relative flat way. With the help of tenon structure, users can easilyremove and pack it. Metal combined with soft materials makes this work looks more elegant.It conveys a sense of fantastic through its public image, processing, and packaging.
