Graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Engineering with a major in Product Design, YUN ZHAO served at Neri&Hu Design and Research Office from 2007 to 2015. During this period, YUN ZHAO engaged in design services for world - renowned top - tier furniture brands including Moooi, BD Barcelona, Classion, Lema, De La Espada, and StellerWorks. Additionally,YUN ZHAO accumulated extensive design experience in high - end customized furniture and lighting for indoor and hotel projects. These experiences broadened YUN ZHAO's international perspective and laid a solid foundation for YUN ZHAO's design capabilities.

In 2015, YUN ZHAO established a personal studio to rationally explore the relationship between furniture product form and tradition within the contemporary technological context. The studio is dedicated to tapping into the current human - centered appeal and cultural connotations.


Established in Shanghai in 2015, Zhao Yun Studio, through in - depth research on materials and manufacturing processes and a profound understanding of the requirements of the contemporary human environment, not only offers solutions for furniture, lighting fixtures and installation, but also provides strategic services in brand consultation and exhibition events.

Crafted from wire-embedded transparent resin panels, the Arch Bookshelf integrates surface textures inspired by natural stone rubbings. This fusion endows the piece with an intriguing duality, blending ancient tactile qualities with futuristic technological sensibilities.
