The maker of the box grew up in the mountains. Their life experience began with the mountains and is connected to them. "Refining the mountain" is the maker themselves. The sharp mountain ridges rise and fall, arching into a unique shape. It resembles a flame, yet also seems to have been forged from flame. Through constant chiseling, it has been shaped into unique edges and contours. The lacquer color, after countless rubbings, adheres to it, forming a color unique to each individual piece. It is through extrusion, refinement, chiseling, and rubbing that its unique base color and shape are born. Just like the life of each and every one of us.
